Very spacious and very clean. Breakfast was great and all the staff were very nice and friendly. Parking is tiny, but you can park in Asda 3 min walk away.
This is the best Travelodge I have ever stayed in with a proper breakfast. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again!
The best Travelodge. Location is very good, food is really nice but what makes the difference is the staff. We stayed for a week and the staff were just amazing. A big thanks goes to Holly, Lisa and Terrance who did everything to help us enjoy our stay.
Decent cheap stay. When I arrived on Sunday evening, the carpark was full, but staff informed me that there was additional parking at ASDA Living which can be used if you let Travelodge staff know and share your car reg. Although I had to go round to the bar when checking in after waiting a while at the check-in desk, staff were lovely, very friendly and welcoming. There's an option to take stairs or lift. The room was easy to find, although the key card took a couple of tries to work. The room had everything I needed and was a decent size for one or two people. It had everything it showed in the photos and description online. The bathroom was cramped, but fine for one night. I heard little noise from other rooms. Unfortunately, the radiator made an irritating noise and any hallway sounds could be heard from the room, but thankfully I was in a hallway with about 10 other rooms and it wasn't busy so I didn't get disturbed too much. Overall, not bad for a cheap night or two.
Spotlessly clean, the receptionist was helpful and friendly. The room was much better than expected as I got a family room, it was the only room left because I checked in very late due to ferry delays. Note to self do not travel on the last day of the summer holiday. Excellent value for money, will definitely use again.
A large group of us stayed here a couple weeks ago. I think in total we had 10 rooms booked. For an event in the town. Easy location to get to and bonus of being able to use the asda carpark. Check in was easy and the staff were friendly. The hotel was clean. Room was easy to find. Clean and comfortable. My only comment is be careful of the sockets!! One came out as I took my plug out. And another guest got a shock off of theirs.
What can I say, it's a Travelodge! Clean rooms, comfortable bed, slightly dodgy TV that needed the cords jiggled to get a signal. The staff were friendly, the food was fine, and the location is convenient. You can park for free in the nearby shopping centre which is a short walk from the hotel (unless you're one of the lucky 15 guests who manages to snag a spot in the hotel parking lot (2 of them are reserved for blue badge holders)
Nice hotel and the staff are great and friendly, stayed for a few days and the downside for me about the rooms was it was hot as hell, even with the windows open and a desk fans already in the room, it was hard to sleep at night, not much can be done about then I know but it made the stay somewhat difficult. I cannot fault the staff at all, they were all too happy helping and were very friendly, only issue with facilities there was the lager pumps at the bar breaking during happy hour, what timing . Location is fantastic, various shops and food chains within walking distance, the staff have a Taxi number on the front desk should you need it to get by, if the temperature could get sorted it would be a lovely place to stay! Nice walk alongside the river running by it as well, hell of a view from higher up. Thank you to the staff for being so helpful when me and my family were there!
